Here we are on Saturday and it’s busy (as always). Angela has tons to do and the kids are crazy (as always). She’s working on finishing another wrap today along with doing laundry and cooking beans for the week. I helped by making lunch, trying to keep our kids out of the way, and getting them to nap. In between all this I was able to snap a few pictures of some of the work in progress.
Two new patterns for the inside holder.

Each pencil/pen holder is measured and sewn individually.
Angela did so much more than this today but I’ll let her tell you about it later. I just had to post these new patterns on here today because I think they’re looking good! I can’t wait to pick out my own. You know, without flowers on it.
Prototype

Here are some pics of our first prototype. We have several design ideas that we want to explore. Here we were just experimenting with fabric and binding. This particular wrap can hold about 20 pens or pencils. The last pocket is larger. I put a ruler in the largest pocket but it can hold something a little wider. We’re thinking about designs that will hold not just pencils but notebooks and other tools that you might need to carry with you.
